Spent a few hours this afternoon working in the front grill guard , put on a grab handle and put the roof panel on to see how it fits and looks. Tomorrow I plan on mounting some tabs for lights, a hanger for my headphones, a place to hang a gun and a chainsaw

Paint prep is a pia, the painting is the easy part

^^^^

Agreed. I hate prep, but its the key to good adhesion and a nice finish.

Beautiful work . Maybe drill a few holes in tubing at lower points to let moisture drain .

Now you guy's need one of thees, New U.S. Military Surplus Truck Mirror, Coyote - 592254, Military Truck & Auto Parts at Sportsman's Guide
I can't believe how handy it is, especially on the roads. It will swing back with a big enough limb, but acts like a extra hand keeping the one's that "get in" away from you before the back post catches them. I think I saw them down under $15 in their last mailer. I bought an extra one for the eventual replacement, so far, it's very tough.
I know, it needs paint:laughing: I hate painting!
