2002 John Deere 4710
I have a 2002 JD 4710 with the E-Hydro. When the tractor gets warmed it abruptly stops moving and the indicator light flashes a code. Two short, two long flashes.
Does anyone know what that code means? When the tractor cools down it will start working again.
Thanks.

My book only lists 42-4410. In my book that code is sensor supply voltage out of range. Controller resets when it see the correct voltage.

My suggestion is to check your battery and alternator to see what voltage you have at the battery when running. Check fuses. Check the ground connection on the chassis and engine. The controller is right behind the instrument cluster. Take the two cowl pieces off and look at the wires to see if they rubbed or a rodent has gnawed on them. In short do a real good visual inspection and see if it can be something easy to spot.

WELCOME!

I thought of another area. The fuse panel. Take your air compressor and blow out the fuse block from the front and rear. Omaha my 4310 the fan blows from the front to the rear. It seems to build up a lot of dirt and grass.
