JD 4600 vs 4700

Is it true that the 4700 has only 41 HP net compared to 41 HP net for the 4600? This must be a typo on the JD web site for Lawn and Leisure tractors?

The JD brochure I keep tucked in my desk /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif lists the 4600 as 43 gross hp, 36 PTO (GST) and 34.5 PTO (HST). My brochure is from last year and does not list the 4700. Hope this helps /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

From my 4700 (AND 4500/4600) "Operator's manual":
Gross hp; 4500=39hp, 4600=43hp, 4700=48hp.

PTO hp; 4500=33hp, 4600(collar-shift and powr-reverser trans)=36hp,
4600(hydrostat)=34.5hp, 4700(collar-shift and powr-reverser trans)=41.5hp, 4700(hydrostat)=40hp
