JD 46 backhoe bent dipper stick rod

I managed to bend my dipper stick rod and I am wondering if anyone knows if parts for these can be found aftermarket or do I need to go thru the dealer? The dealer wants $171.00 for just the rod! Looks like list price to me!!! The part # LVA13185, any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Have you looked at the all the cyl manufacturers and the surplus centers?

Close might be good enough.

You can also modify a cyl to fit.

Thanks JJ! I will see what I can find. I need to figure out the specs on the bent rod. I dont see them listed on the JD manual. Just a part #.

What you need to know is the cyl bore, rod size, stroke, rod end type and pin diameter, closed pin length and open pin length.

You can measure all this yourself.
