Snow JD 4500 Neutral Saftey switch

After reading some past posts I had concluded that the Neutral Saftey Switch had gone bad on the 4500. I called the local parts dealer and they could not find any thing that matched a 4500 that was US Made. I confirmed that by looking at the John Deere sight and also found nothing for US Models. I did order the part number that was shown for European versions. Can anyone confirm that the European part number is the same for US models ??

Also as a side note I went looking for the switch this morning and did find it...shorted it across with a piece of wire & the tractor started right up... Good thing as we have waist high snow here to move today.
