On mine I checked first for bearing movement, didn't notice any so changed the oil 80w140 Mobile, then put some ATP AT-205 Re-Seal stop leak in it, been 5 weeks so far and no leaks.

I have the exact same issue. So far I have the wheel assembly/ hub off and the snap ring removed. I'm wondering does the shaft need pressed out? I'm doing this for use of my buddies tractor so I want to be extra careful. I put the assembly in my shop press and supported the outer housing and applied some very light pressure and gave it a few taps with a hammer. Nothing budged.
