My JD 4400 steering is acting weird, normally when you turn the steering wheel all of the way left or right the steering wheel will stop, yesterday when operating my tractor I noticed when turning to the right I could keep turning the steering wheel continously to the right ( right only). The front wheels seem to turn alright, althought I do not think the front wheels turn to the right quite as far as when turning to the left. Also when turning all the way to the right I notice sometimes the wheels do not hold completely in place when turning right.
Could I have an o-ring or an internal seal failing inside of the steering cylinder ? I have the old style axle on my JD 4400.

Thanks
