JD 4400 cracked hood...no problem JB Weld

Cracked/split my hood on my JD 4400...no problem applied the JB weld,let it set overnight and sanded down,sprayed with JD green paint...looks good as new. JB weld is handy stuff. Almost as handy as WD-40.

Cactus I rank JB-Weld right up there with silver duct tape. Two indispensable items in my opinion. I actually repaired a hole in the casting of a water pump using some JB-Weld until a replacement could be found. And the repair was still water tight even when we were installing the new pump.

I have heard of guys using it on cast iron engine blocks although I have never seen it done myself.

Have also used JB-Kwik from time to time (also mixed 50/50) when we needed a faster than normal repair. It sets real quick......
