John Deere 3720 Cab Tractor
When I had my tractor in at the dealers while they were putting the Cab on it, I had them go through the whole machine, and if they saw anything that needed changing or fixed to go ahead and do it. So they fixed my Loader. It was kind of sloppy at the rear mounts. It was always this way since day one of having the tractor. I just thought that is the way it was considering it was a quick disconnect loader. But they welded shims on the squar loader mounts. WOW! what an improvement! The loader has absolutly no slop in it at all. It is very tight. I never knew it was supposed to be better than it was for over 4 years. Just thought I would let you know, in case anybody has these symptoms at all, it can be fixed, and you'll be happy that you did.

Sharing this kind of information is what I think this site is all about. There can be no unimportant little facts when it comes to tractors. There are so many who are learning. Thanks for your contribution! John

Good info. What about posting on JD site? Must be an update or one of thier fix as fail programs! Probably the same with 430 and 460.

Question, how many hours do you have on your tractor? Your bio does not specify how many, and I was wondering if you did a lot of loader use that would have caused wear at the mounting frames. Thanks for passing the tip along.

On this tractor I've got 720 hours on it. No, the frames weren't ever quite right to begin with. The loader always had some wobble to it at the rear frames. It may have got progressivly worse over time, but when you use it everyday you don't realize that it's getting worse. But, it is tight as can be now. Tighter than it ever has been. Like I've said before, I just thought that is the way the loader was supposed to be because it was a quick disconnect loader, compared to my loader that I had on my previous JD 855 Hydro. Yes, I do quite a bit of loader work with it.
