UNABLE TO CUT GRASS, MECHANISM NOT ENGAGING. MOWER CARRIAGE WILL RAISE AND LOWER.
ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS???? THANKS

Sounds to me like your front pto clutch is not engaging. It could be a wire problem on your switch under the dash. My 420 rear pto gave me problems today not wanting to engage until I found a loose wire on the switch.
