JD 4110 Oil Plug Size

Folks ,

I am was interested in installing an oil Drain Valve and I can not seem to find out what size the drain plug thread size is for my JD4110. I called the dealer and they did not know (why am I not surprized) and tried Yanmar with no luck. I think it is either 22 or 18 MM , but I am not sure. I believe someone else from TBN has installed one of these but I do not know if it was in a JD or not. Sure looks like a great thing to help in keeping those oil changes a bit cleanier. I have always been a bit nervous about these types of devices , however this one seems to have all the basis covered.

Don't know the size of the plug but the valve seems like an awful lot of $$ for a plug you take out once or twice a year. If no luck finding the size, take the plug to your hardware store or parts store that carries nuts and bolts, try a few nuts till you find the one that fits....
