JD 4105 Transmission noise

I recently bought a John Deere 4105 Compact Utility tractor. This was an upgrade from my late-1970s Massey Ferguson 230. Tractor was delivered and I read the manual and got on. I put the gear in high and drove around and I am noticing a grinding noise from the transmission when I am in motion. I do notice it's not so bad when I'm in Low speed and I wanted to know if this is normal. Perhaps this is normal with the hydrostatic transmission. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 4105 and in high range the trans is very noisiey to sounds like it is screaming and hope we do not see a problem from that but we shall see. Have you had any problems with yours kicking out of 4 wheel drive when
Backing up and turning the wheel ?
