JD 3010 Brakes Stuck

I backed up, stepped on the brakes, and they worked, but will not release. Tried going forward and backwards but they still will not release. Anyone have any familiar problems/solutions?

Do you have a service manual?

May need to trace the hyd. lines from the brake valve to the disk brakes to determine where the problem is at.

Have you had the tractor long?

I have a service manual. Bought the tractor about a month ago. The seller told me everything was good on the tractor. Am finding out otherwise. Spending most of the time Just trying to get it to start!

Does the service manual troubleshoot the brakes? Must be some place to check hyd. pressure and to determine what backs off the brake pads (spring or hyd. pressure? ).

Hope you have a warm place to work on it. Where are you located?

There are bleed screws(parts key #1) on axle housings that can be loosened to free brakes. You could also check the screen(parts key #25) in brake housing for plugging.
