Hi Marcel,
Does the original owner think that the tractor has developed this problem or has the tractor been like that since new? Can you ask someone who has experience with these tractors to test drive it to see if it is acting normally? It is extremely rare that I ever use the top range on my old International but when I do use it there is a certain amount of lugging the motor to get going i.e. don't try and start up hill in eighth gear. Do you get the motor revving pretty good before letting the clutch out?

Thank you very much for the response. I will ask him later on. I do rev it pretty good but never to the point where I I guess I'm really on it and say popping the clutch type of deal, maybe that's what is required? A more aggressive start? Because truly other than than the tractor seems to me to run well.
