Howdy,
I have a jd 300b loader that has had slow loader movements since I've owned it. I have changed filters, stroke control valve, and adjusted stand by pressure to 2300. The book says the boom up cycle time should be about 4 seconds, mine is around 7-8 seconds. Transmission pump pressure stays above 40-50 psi when using loader mid throttle so I don't think this is a charge circuit problem. I know the steering column can cause a lot of hyd problems, but I capped the line off that goes to Column with no difference. I have shimmed the pressure control valve up to 1750 and same thing. I only have about 15gpm at only 1000 psi and it's very chattery. I'm about to pull the front pump, I just wanted some reassurance or other thoughts maybe.
Thanks,
Lance
