JD 2520 Question

We are to take delivery of our new 2520 in the next week or 2 (waiting on arrival of FEL). Unlike many others, the dealer I stopped by had one on the lot. Whereas I have no reason to doubt the information the dealer provided me, is there a way I can determine the date of manufacture by looking at the PIN (Product Identification Number)?

Again, it looks brand spanking new and great in the paint but I like to be both cautious and thorough.

Well,what you could do,is call another JD dealer and ask them to check it for you.

John Deere send a build sheet with those tractors. Check the packet that contains the owners manual as it should be there. On the top of the page it will have the build date on it.
