Hi everyone. My son was using the tractor today and
Told me it was stalling when he was digging out trees. Later on it wouldn't
Start. He checked the fuel filter, there was fluid in the sight glass, and when the lights are turned
On, they are not bright and go very dimm. I'm thinking now
It's the battery. Tractor is a 2005 with original battery. It started
Fine last week but maybe it's due. The starter does not
Click either. Battery????? I will get one and start from there.

This is what happens to many posters on this forum. Works fine. Shut off. Then won't turn over. Almost always winds up bad battery. Sometimes a bad ground or dirty terminals. 7 years on the battery. Replace it and clean the terminals and ground to frame connection.
