I am trying to change the PTO oil seal and I am having a little trouble getting the cover off. I tried a gear puller but there isn't enough of a lip on the left side. I was wondering if I'm doing it wrong or is there an easier way.

Thx

You need to hold shift lever(parts key 1) forward when pulling rear pto shaft out of tractor so shift collar(parts key 8) doesn't fall off pto input shaft.

Tap the PTO SEALHOUSING LIGHTLY WITH A HAMMER And drive the frontwheels in a ditch then you do not have to drain the tran oil Then pull out

Thx. I was going to try that but I was afraid I might crack it.
