I know this is an older thread but there was recent activity here. I joined the forum specifically beaucause I have the same issued with my 2006 TLB 110. Mint machine, barely 1500 hours on it but I've been having this issue for a while now. It sometimes almost make the machine impossible to drive. I have to stop it and start it again then it's good for a few minutes and it starts again.
It has been sent to the John Deere dealer where they mostly just cleaned the connexions in every plugs. According to what I'm reading here, I suppose my next step is to change the transmission controller LVA16917 as suggested by fireout66.
I'm also wondering if other people who had the same issue had to change that controller of if they found another source also causing this issue.
