I am assuming that the front axle main pinion gear was the culprit because I found this shaft to be jambed slighly upwards towards the bottom of the oil pan.
Will post some pics as soon as I learn how to do it, in the meanwhile the site in my last post has very good pictures of the 110 with the cab. The rear portion of the cab that bumps out is around the backhoe control area. Their are no problems using the backhoe with this cab otherthan the rear window is limited as to how far it can swing open with the tractor boom all the way up. If you remove the backhoe this bumped out glass is removed with it and you can swap the window back to the regular position.
When I ordered my 110 I ordered all options but the radio. The cab came with a heater but not air, now the cab is available with air too. Some things you may not think you will use but it is much better to have them than need them. Externally I ordered the 72"HD bucket, 48" rail pallet forks, 18" pin on bucket and the 84" hydraulic actuated scraper box. The scraper is about 1200 to 1400 lbs and is pricey but it does a great job. The 3 pt top and tilt hitch handles it well too and allows me to cut a swale, something that gave me a hard time before. To pull this around in the mountains where I live I bought a new Ford F550 diesel 4x4 chassis cab and a 12,000 lb trailer, makes hauling it a breeze.
About the belly pan yes you can build your own but I think you are better off ordering it and let Deere put it on. I build my own custom service bodies for my business that are fairly elaborate but I don't think you will save much making your own pan.
Only things I will add this summer are airconditioning and a planetary drive auger. I have to call and see if Laurin has an add on for the ac if not there is a company called Hammond that makes and aftermarket kit that is custom designed for this cab and 110.
Laurin also makes a cab for some of the JD 3000 series that allows you to use with the backhoe attachment. So even if Deere doesn't offer the cab with the backhoe option it is still available.
