Well, it might be a stuck valve from lack of use that is operated by two electric solenoid. I'm waiting on a repair manual for additional information. Bushy

Does anyone have any experience with freeing up a stuck valve that is controlled by selonoids. Specifically the valve that diverts hydraulic flow from front to rear in the triple scv? The electric control on joystick(diverter switch) controls the operation of these selonoids I don't know if the selonoids are threaded on the valve body or not. Are there electrical relays associated with the operation of these selonoids? Maybe it is a bad relay? The selonoids have a pin sticking out of the end that is not in the valve body. Does this pin contract or move when the selonoid is activated? Has anyone notice the maze of hydraulics lines under the 110?
Another question, how do you mechanics out there feel about having the valve clearance checked/ajusted at the 600 hour service interval? I don't hear anything, performance seems regular. My concern is, if it is not broken (Working within the range of proper ajustment) don't mess with it. Thanks Bushy

Has anyone seen front fenders for the 110? Have you noticed that water is flung up on operator station when driven on hard surfaces at higher speeds? Bushy

bushytlb,

How long have you had your tlb. I got mine in may 2005. The hoses on the loader have chafed and one just busted. Have you had any troubles with yours. I have the Tech Manual and it shows a solenoid on the diverter valve. After you remove the solenoid the next step is to remove the diverter valve cartridge, which is under the solenoid. If the diverter valve is not working take off the solenoid and test it. If it test good then there may be a little trash of some sort under the valve cartridge.

mikeyp,
I've had my 110 since april of 2005 and have also had problems with chafing. Have had the aux. hoses for the loader replaced at 50 hrs after they nearly wore through, and the backhoe aux. lines for the thumb replaced twice. First time they were so short they almost ripped them selves apart when I moved the hoe. It's been a while now since I've had a problem so hopefuly there all done.

mikep; I've had the 110 since June 02. I've had a hydraulic line develop a pinhole leak. It was located where the loader mast meets the loader arms. It is in a place where the line continuously flexs. It was so fine it looked like steam or mist. Bushy

Sorry, It's been a long time since I visited here. My 110 was out of warranty when the hoses finally wore through. Funny thing is I made the dealer reroute them when it was new because they were chafing after about 10 hours. They wore through anyway. I had also developed a leak in the front end. Took it back to the dealer and JD warranted the leak in the front end and had an update kit for the hose problem. Fixed them both for no charge. Now I have a problem with the third function aux hydraulics. The lights come on but no hydraulic flow out of the third aux function.

Bushy what did you find out about your stuck diverter valve? I may have the same problem with the aux hydraulic spool. It has solenoids also.

Can anyone help direct me to the best operational and service manual I can find for my 2008 JD 110TLB, I had a flashing light on the dash leading to the book / wrench log... it was followed by Hydrostatic drive stop momentarily, then it started moving again, the light came on and off a few more times during the course of the days operation, use this machine less than 10 hours a month, always kept in doors, dry and cleaned after use, I have not owned it long and would like to know more about service schedules and if there are filter changes that I possibly need to be monitoring, this is my first Hyrdo drive tractor ever. Thank you for your time. Brian
