I was hoping someone could open it, I have trouble with Win Zip, and the Acrobat pdf was to large . Lot of good information , many salesmen should read through it.

I went sat. to the dealer and the salesmen was off, looked the machine over and should deliver sometime late in the afternoon early evening.

My 4310 is ready to go, I will miss that machine, cleared snow all day Sat. and love the small footprint. The machine is like new and will be a great buy for a future tractor owner. Heck I have so much wax on it the water and snow just beaded off. If I did not need more space and want to build another garage I would have kept it.

I will try to post pictures Tuesday and give you a update on the new toy. I wish I had more time to play just so busy with my business with no end in sight but, that is how you pay for the toys.

I had some problems viewing the file, also. It was so big, that my machine just sat there and sat there... finally had to reboot.

So, I saved the file to my harddrive and then opened it. Much faster and didn't lock my computer up.

When I save the file to my hard drive and attempt to open it, I get a message telling me it is not a zip file or is either the first of multiple files, because the directory does not exist within it. I've downloaded it several times, over different days, with the same result.

Gosh... my old, clunky PIII ate the whole thing!?! It took a couple of tries but it finally worked.

Macdabs -- did you get that file from your dealer? Great info. The trailering info with the chain locations; good details to know.

JDPN -- I'd like to see the *.pdf file for the 5x25 series tractors. My neighbor has been talkin' about getting a new 5000 series tractor; they'd love to see as detailed a review of those tractors as the 110 file provided.

Besides... I like to read about ANY tractor!! Any brand; any time!!

I found the file on a govt. site that we place products on for sale to state and local muncipalities.

The dealer could not drop my machine off yesterday cause of weather. We have flood warnings and bad weather in Pa. yesterday and today. I hope we have a dry morning Thursday or Friday I could use the lifting capability to move some heavy steel .

The snow I can deal with the freezing rain and flooding this time of year is a pain in the a##.

I will keep you posted .

Found a link to the M59. I don't think JD would upgrade the 110 to compete with the M59 - they'd introduce a whole new product if they see a market for it.

In the meantime - you just have to make do with one of these....

Macdabs -- sorry to hear about the flooding, freezing rain and generally nasty conditions! (Hope you still have your 4310 to clean things up with.)

Looked at the M59 very intently... but the final price was pretty hard on my retinas!! Base price I got from my dealer up here with all the specs I wanted on a TLB was over $61K. He couldn't give me a quote that included the top n tilt cause the regional guys in LA didn't have a cost for him. So, if I could get them to discount the machine ~15% (not AT ALL likely..) it was still more than $7K above the JD110 (with the straight 3pt).

That price puts your considerations right in the "Big Iron" realm... You can get a low hour JD310 with thumb, extenda hoe, cab, AC, heat, etc., etc. for that kinda money.

Granted you don't have a 3pt but... there are other options for that, too.

I think Kubota really shot themselves in the foot by discontinuing the L48. If I could have found a new L48 within $1-2K of a new 110 -- I'd probably be orange right now!

The local Kubota guys are a whole different dynamic when you step into the store! They're "trying" to get your business --- not "give" you the business!

That said --- the parts and shop staff at the local JD are top drawer and I have a great deal of respect for those fellows!

The link he posted with the 110TLB info is straight off the dealer only webiste. I am sure it was scanned and put online for government bidding at some point...very helpful information though! Problem is we dealers can't just e-mail that information straight from the dealer site, that is probably why this is the first time many of you have seen it.

If any of you would like this type of information on any product in the JD line-up I will be glad to print it off and fax it to you...just let me know!

Do you think you could list it here as a *.pdf Adobe file so we could download it to our harddrives, etc.

The 110 file was a *.pdf and is great to print off as many copies as you'd like for anyone else that is interested.
