JD 1050 Makeover

Just about done with a makeover on my 1050 MFWD. I made 1 good hood from 3 and found a set of fenders that were perfect. They were all blasted an painted and I bought a new front grill and headlight trim,which I thought were reasonable from the dealer. Replaced the dash,also reasonable, and repaired the warning light setup. Most of the seals in the front axle and pto I replaced and everything else was leak free. It has 2400 hours and I have 2 questions. What kind of life can I expect from the turbo and are parts still available? The turbo end play is still in spec but am interested in what you folks know. Trying to put pictures in. Thanks for the help.

ejb, I found this old posting after you answered a question of mine. I have about 3200 hrs on mine, and have not yet had any turbo problems. Looks like you were doing some fine work in 2005.
