Jari Monarch Sickle Bar mower

My friend had one of these for the longest time in his garage, kept telling me he was gonna scrap it, I eventually convinced him to give it to me. The engine was a Briggs but the whole carb and gas tank assembly were totally destroyed, it was cost ineffective to fix, I could never get all the parts cheap enough. Finially I broke down and bought a Harbor Freight Predator 212CC engine and slapped it on there and it works once again. This is a pretty cool machine. Had a thicket patch I've been trying to kill for years and it just went right through. Love the sound of the sickle bar too. Anyone else have a Jari?

Don't have one but I did run one years ago at summer camp, did a fine job at the time. If I was buying new I would look at the DR brush mowers.
