There's a wee bit of misty rain today. The "liars" (weather predictors/bone-throwers/meteorologists... take your pick) say it'll get up to 22c later on.

It is a little chilly here, -12F at 6PM. This morning at 5AM it was only -30F.

What in the world can you do at -30*. I really think if we had something like that here everything would shut down. It would put so much stress on the electric grid and the Natural gas system that, I just believe nothing here would or could operate. I'm in the HVAC / Plumbing business and I would have non stop work 24 7 if it were that cold here... I would be RICH !!!!!!!

Just came in from evening chores, and the thermometer in my barn said -5F. When I was giving my livestock water I got my waterproof gloves wet, and they froze so solid that I had to go in and put on another pair, because I couldn't pick up anything with frozen gloves. At least we don't have much snow, yet, only about 4 inches and it's been snowing lightly all day.

jeez Joe.. take it easy up there, That is the major danger zone as far as I know. What in the world can you do at -39F?.. We would all be dead here if it was that cold. Our houses and heating systems are just not made for that. Take care buddy.
