ISEKI 4270 PTO

I have a Iseki 4270 (40 h.p) with electronic PTO. Can anyone tell me the correct method of operating this type of pto when using a 6ft topper. I have been told that serious damage can be done if the correct proceedures, engine revs, etc are not used. Unfortunately, I do not have a manual for this tractor but hope someone can give some guidance?

turn the pto on at a idle and turn it off at a idle and you should be ok

they will take a bit of abuse, believe me we used to start big implements with it, would stall out the tractor 3 or 4 times before the tractor stopped stalling, then you wind her up and leave her there......that was when we still had big isekis and they were cheap to fix, and our bigger tractors were busy, now i would not do that!! wise not to abuse it,
