So the question is, what happens if you just mow it? Will regular grass grow up between it and push it out?

We have vacant farm land. Full of weeds, briars, etc... but if you keep the trails mowed to 4" for a couple years, all that seems to remain is grasses. It would be an acceptable rural lawn.

I've got at least $2600 and 24 hours in labor in the Jiggs pasture so far. Ain't no weed stopping me now.
