Is this a scam? or phish or what?

Something I've seen several times now. Y'all can watch for it and it's pretty obvious.

New ID pops up, starts posting irrelevant comments that don't really have anything to do with the thread. Sometimes something simple like 'Good information, thanks for the tip'. Sometimes it's on current threads, but usually it's on older threads like the paper shredder thread this morning. They do it to build up their post count and almost certainly by the fourth or fifth post you'll find at least one link. In this case it was a link to a site selling paper shredders. Usually the sites are based outside the US and may not even be legitimate.

Should have just let it go. Kinda like when you see a number pop up on caller ID that you don't recognize.

Since ! used PM I did not feel malware could be loaded.
