seems fair to me !!
can't help with Il. dealers.
I can tell you i have a DK35 with 25 hours.
so far it has been great ! I would recommend this tractor and the 1450 loader.

a fare price for a dk35 with loader is around $16,000. i paid $15800 with loader. so this deal in my mind is not such a deal because you are paying $4,000 for about $3,500 worth of implements. The trailer goes for about 1K, box blade 300-400, tiller 800, mower 1200. shop around if they don't post a price ask for one via email.

For my area (northern NH) its agreat deal. But as noted, for your area of the world,others have gotten better prices. your comfort level with the dealer might be worth a few hundred additional dollars. in any case you will love the dk35.

i've been to this dealer and seen the package he's talking about. that is why i put the prices down. no dealer is going to discount things so much they don't make a profit and especailly this dealer. i'm not saying the dealer is bad infact i was impressed with this dealer but they don't give their stuff away.

For a comparison I live in NY,but bought from a Canadian dealerK40(ind.tires,remotes,creeper,1470fel,72"bucket,65"tiller)
I paid $18,800 US no tax or shipping,delivered 4 miles from my house,Iam very happy with this price.
I originally ordered a DK35 but changed to a 40.I liked the 35,but an extra $1,700 gave me 5hp,4cyl,bigger tiller,bigger tires,bigger bucket,but most of all almost twice the load capacity on the loader and still has the mid pto......Mike

I have been looking at kioti's for some time local dealer has qouted me $18500 for a kioti dk40 with 1470 loader and 66" bucket. Not shore if I want dk35 or dk40 unshore if dk35 will be a good enough replacement to my international 300utilty. Need to be able to run my kk72" mower. Also thinkig of getting a box blade,and post hole diggger. Soooooo if any of you kioti owners can spare me your thougts,opinions,helpful advise,etc. I am waiting to hear from you.

72" is too big for the DK35. if you ever do any heavy brush hogging it would be too much but okay for normal grass. i was told by my dealer to use a 60" because it was just right. so i would go for the DK40 if you really need the 72".

Around here the 72" is what we sell with the DK35. A finish mower is for just that finish mowing. I have one customer who is using an 84" mower with his DK35 with no problems, he just keeps his grass cut regularly and lives in a very flat area. If he didn't I would NEVER recommend the 84" for a 35. These are also Kioti mowers which run very easily.

My LK3504 is 35hp, same as the DK35. I run a 60" Bush Hog mower and when mowing 3ft high grass and brush, the tractor does not even start to bog. I already had the mower from when I had a Minneappolis Moline. If I went to buy a new mower for my LK, it would be a 72". Most people have no problems with a 60" behind a 25hp tractor.

I read it wrong sorry. A DK35 will handle a 72" mower just fine but not a 72" brush hog.

3054 with 60 inch hog. so far if the deck bends it over it gets cut, no bog no stall.

Iam thoroughly impressed with my DK 40,the workmanship is flawless and it performs like a dream.
My sons friend who is an Operating Engineer tried it out and said it was "deluxe".
My brother in law who just bought a comparable JD was walking around the Kioti saying "this is heavier than mine" over and over as he pointed to various parts and asked several times" how much was this thing? "
Finally he said "but I really needed the hydrostatic"

You are echoing a very good friend of mine's advice when I told him I wanted to buy a Kubota. He said he looked at both and said there was no comparison. He bought the DK 40 also and absolutely loves it. Thank you for your reply. I will indeed give them a call.
