In response to the idea that toolcats are unreliable- mine has 1100 hours on it, been used for two years to build a train tunnel- (thats right- build a train tunnel) been completely covered with concrete- cab and windows smashed, dented- jackhammer hose draped all over, been to **** and back. driven thru water and a slurry of concrete every day. conditions were so rough that the tires were foam filled to prevent flats. 28' rebar was rammed tru the cab as a way to carry it. i repainted it got the concrete off with a chisel and acid, put glass back in. hard to tell it from machine with 100 hours. drives and operates perfectly. As for this being a fluke- at the bobcat dealer recently was a bobcat with the same motor as my toolcat, with 9000 hours on it without a teardown. oh yea- my tc has had nothing but oil changes and a heater switch. Im thinking a polairs with a motorcycle engine might not have held up as well...but i could be wrong.
