Worth a try to loosen the stem packing nut a bit and work the stem back and forth.

Success! (the first thing that's gone right on this plumbing project)

Only problem with that is, it involves doing plumbing work. Have I mentioned how much I really hate plumbing?

I know, I know, hire a plumber. No, I say, NEVER!! I refuse. I'm doing it myself!
Yes, it does. I've made a lot of money in the plumbing and HVAC business .
Can't really figure out why people want to call a Plumber, but I'm sure glad there are those type people that exist .. LOL
