Actually it is the truck's fault. It's not easy finding a good Duramax or Cummins mechanic since they rarely have work. Those Powerstroke mechanics though have plenty of practice! ;-)

Also, if this was a Ford all he would have to do is remove the cab from the chassis and have no problems getting to those lines. It's that easy...

Yea, I agree. I have heard though the net and my mechanic that that seal is junk and will probably leak again. Its not the best design and I am sure whatever made the seals fail, 2 carrier bearings, and the transfer case once before are all related.

No you got that all wrong. All the Ford Wreckers are what hauls the Dodges and GM truck to the shop.

I've heard of the tranny lines around here once in a while, but never the other things you referenced.

I honestly think there is a drive line alignment issue here. His truck he bough new in 2008 as a 2007 left over. One owner, no accidents. Its had a seal leak on the Allison and it had to be dropped out. The transfer case took a dump about 2 years ago and the new one will now be on its 3rd output seal. This was the second carrier bearing and its had a new yoke put on the drive shaft and a new U-Joint. Something is just not right with it.

Definitely... This thread is a seriously goofy joke! I'd like to take it to heart -- but, it's not really possible.

I've driven my Dmax over some to the worst roads in North America and have never even begun to experience the problems that Chris likes to bring to viewers every other week!

Gotta be a feature "reality show" in there somewhere for him!

Believe what you want. Its at Sam Pierce Chevy in Daleville, IN right now.

I know quite a few guys with them also that are virtually trouble free but this one sure is not.

Any ideas why Ford hasn't come up with a tilt cab??:)

Go down to the GM dealer and you will see Dmax trucks with Cabs off also. I think Dodge is the only one that does not need to come off which gives it and the Cummins the edge.
