Test drive the cyber truck for a few hours while my Y was getting a hitch installed.

Fun to drive but hard to justify $85,000. The range extender will be another $15,000.

Also my wife hates the look of it.

Duct tape to hold the body panels in place, gee I thought that practice was limited to $1000 clunkers. Maybe it's a "feature" for when CT owners feel like slumming.

"Wrapping" is when a film is installed on the vehicle to change the color or add a design to it's appearance.

It's amazing what changing the color does to the thing; I mean, it's still ugly, but not glaringly so.

Yeah, that's it.

Cheaper than a paint job, too.

What I don't get is for the matte-finish wraps: how do you keep it clean, plus how many years do you get before intense heat and UV from the sun destroys it?

As for oogly, the same was said of the Prius, but after years of seeing thousands of them, we kinda got used to them.

Many years ago, customers who bought the stainless steel Delorean did not like the dull grey look, so many were painted.
