I’ve worked with very good people Union and Non Union.
The folks I know at Tesla Fremont have not supported the union coming in… so far.
Some think the union coming in would doom the plant and production would leave California?
I do believe it’s true that Non Union often benefit when Union wages increase.
We have never had a strike as non union but our sister facility is union and when they strike our nurses eventually benefit.
In my present situation I offered to join the union but that was the last thing corp wanted to hear…
As salaried Director I was exempt for 25 years but when reclassified as Chief Engineer in 2017 it was only a matter of time before the union came knocking so I was again reclassified…
