Seems like I'm seeing them a lot more often. I saw several last week, and another one yesterday. The ones painted black look a lot better then the stainless steal. Even the green paint looks better then the stainless steal.
The one I saw yesterday was just at dark, and it had it's lights on. That was a first. I didn't realize they didn't have "headlights" but instead, it looks more like a light bar mounted on the bumper.

Saw my first one a few days ago, up close, actually doing some truck stuff at the dump. Seems to me to be very similar to having an El Camino. Was a city guy with a cabin here, which made me think was someone with just too much money until two very attractive ladies spent a bit of time with him taking selfies.

Chinese automobiles are a different breed.

Don't discount those chinese vehicles based on past experiences. See some reporting from the likes of Motortrend. Those companies also have deep roots in all things automotive.

Regarding EV’s..don’t be so sure about that. Lots of technical papers rank them equal or even better quality than US vehicles

I'll trust the videos I've seen slip through from the Chinese internet long before I'll trust anyone who could profit from those death traps coming here. I'll trust the videos from owners in Australia and New Zealand.
I'd buy an old diesel Olds before I'd buy a Chinese automobile of any sort. Of course, I'd rather have neither... but where is the fun in that, for a conversation.
