Is my temp guage working?

Hello Y'all
Happy 4th from a canuck.
I have a 3010 HST with about 25 hours on it. The temp guage never, ever, moves beyond about 1/4 and 1/2 way. I am sort of curious to know whether this is typical, or is my guage or sender not working properly?
Any comments?
ps: It embarrases me to say, that I never noticed that my FEL should stay in 'float' till I read it on TBN: thanks.

My F2400 has a break in the line of the gauge at about the quater point and that is where the needle on my temperature gauge sits when it is fully warmed up. So I think you gauge is working fine. From one canuck to another.

If your temp gauge registers over 1/2, check the screen in front of the radiator. Kubotas tend to run at about 1/4 on the temp gauge scale (unless it's darn cold weather). Relax.

Have a new L3000Dt. The gauge stays near the bottom like you fellows. There ain't nothing between Canada and Texas but a five strand barbed wire fence! That's an old saying down here that means the wind howls down from up there every winter.

I have a B7500 and have mowed once for three hours straight so far with the gauge staying near the C. Of course I have got a transmission leak with only 6 hours on the meter but that is the subject of my other post.

I was concerned when I got my L3000DT new and the temp gauge only went up about 1/4 of the way, if that. I asked the dealer if they would check it out as I thought it was not working also.

They said that position was normal.

The temp guage on my 2910 never moves beyond the top of the 'C' even after hours in 95 degree weather. I never thought it might not be working correctly. just thought how good the cooling system was. Now I am not sure,
