Is 10% Ethanol a problem, can I do anything about it?

/ Is 10% Ethanol a problem, can I do anything about it? #21
I have done a lot of reading the last few days on the issue. Personally, I will be looking for non. blended fuel in the future for my small engines. I would like opinions on which is better to run the engine dry or run stabilized fuel through the system? I know that seals tend to dry and may crack or rot when exposed to air.
Here's the some conclusions from what I have read:
Small engines makers are behind the curve in adapting to alcohol blended fuels.
Alcohol blends have shorter shelf life due to attraction of moisture
Alcohol blends cause engines to run hotter, see results from study on last link
Alcohol causes erosion and corrosion in some plastics rubbers and metals
Alcohol has more solvent properties and using in fuel systems that already have deposits will loosen and dissolve them, which may clog jets, valves and filters.
