Kubota L3400 w/ LA524 loader
Hey again everyone. I am doing a new frame and reusing the axles for my Kubota Hauler. So wanted input on what I would need as far as steel and see if maybe someone has an old set of plans I can look at. Not trying to be cheap, just don't want to buy a set if I decide to not go this route. Also all the bumper pull plans I have found for deck over trailer are shorter than what I need. I have to have at least 21' of bed area. My tractor with the loader and a bush hog is right at 20'. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Why not just go take a few photos of a manufacturers trailer with some measurement of the channel steel size including flange and lip thickness. If building I would upgrade to the next heavier size anyway, plus put more cross bracing in

I would agree with copying a design but why waste money and hauling capacity with oversize steel? A company that is in business to produce trailers has the engineering background (hopefully) to size things properly.

Adding to a plan shouldn't be too big of a deal but you will have to change your axle placement.
