I am looking at a International 424 with a diesel. Does anyone out there have experience with one and can tell me their likes and dislikes? Also any advice on what to look out for while I am looking it over would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave

I like mine.

Issues:
glow plugs stock set up is a pain

worn parts and some are hard to find

Case IH has most parts, but some are lots of $$$. I asked for a valve to add hydraulic remotes to mine and Case IH wanted $2800.00 for the kit.

ps Don't drive a new tractor after you buy it cause you'll have tractor envy. ;):ashamed:

Just as a forwarning, any tractor company by the time the model has been replaced attachments get scarce.

On the 424, they are a great little tractor capable of pulling 2-3 bottom plows and with the independent PTO can pull up to about 6' hog or 8' finish.
