Found this link on another site that Mahindra & Mahindra is a possible suitor for Aston Martin. I think when you buy one of their cars you get more than a hat!

Makes for some interesting possibilities/shared engineering:-

A V12 powered 400kw+ Mahindra tractor ?
A diesel Vanquish with PTO/3PL ?
Then maybe time will stand still for all Aston models or they'll be retro models....just like Hindustan with their "current" Ambassador vehicle based on the 1956 Morris Oxford model......

Seriously though if it's anything like the purchase by India's Tata (from Ford) of Land Rover/Range Rover/Jaguar it could be the best thing to happen to Aston.....

And let's put Daniel Craig behind this improved "Mahindra" wheel in the next Bond film ( the Astons are becoming a bit monotonous anyway).....with communism in decline & no one really wanting to rule the world anymore, James Bond really needs some new "bad guys' to neutralise & save the world from.....starting with the Indian call centres who invade our homes incessantly with subliminal messages......James Bond in "Bombay is not enough...."
