Interesting "lowering" trailer @ HD..

Saw this today at Home Depot. Unique design, but don't know how much weight it will carry. It appeared to be for hauling a small trencher rental unit, or maybe a small manlift.

I believe they're known as "hydraulic trailers". Also very useful for shop machine moving.

as its a stub axle design (not solid) i highly dought a 5K rateing

According to Triple L trailers, the UT49 in the picture is rated for 4500 capacity.

Does anybody know what the channel slides on, is there a wheel or bushing? also is the load held only off the ground by the hydraulics, or is there a lock?

BTDT, if you happen to see it again at home depot, could you take an additional pic of the channels, and the piece on the wheel side that it slides on ?

Does anyone have a link to an axle stub like this unit uses? Most I've seen seem to stick out farther from the trailer bed.
