Here's another interesting pic. I didn't know Praying Mantis' had the ability to blend their colors???

Interesting, but must be a slow day in upper Missouri.:D

BTW, I was in NE Kansas last weekend and there were lots of grasshoppers. But just south and east of there, where I live, there are hardly any......??? Hum-m-m.....Also no Bag Worms on the Cedars this year..........but the grub worms have just about ruined my strawberry parch viz. about 50% kill on the new plants.

Wait until you find a mantis out in your bright green lawn.

I know!!! I had always saw them on greenery. Didn't know they changed colors like that. Pretty amazing!!!!

Interesting!! Any idea what kind of bug those two small ones are??

Never saw one in my 64 years. If you study the close-up photo the details of color are incredible!!!
