Has anyone ever took apart the instrument console on a ck35? I'm just looking to see the level of difficulty and possible instructions. I'm thinking of changing mine instead of transporting the tractor to the dealer for replacement. Thanks

I have taken mine part way off on my CK30. I'd think they are pretty close. It was quite easy actually. I don't remember all of the details as it was over a year ago but I'll go have a look today and post you what I remember as the steps. I removed all of the covers but did not actually take the gauges etc out. Is that what you want to do?

What are you trying to fix?

I took mine completely apart (CK30) to replace just the fuel & temp gages, a little time consuming but easy.

I'm having to replace the cover cause it has cracked on both top edges for some reason. Thanks for info.

Thanks for the pics, got me off the couch out to the garage to check my dash.
BTW, little off topic, but how does your CK35 handle the 6' blower. I was looking for a 5' or 6' and a great deal on a 5 came first.

I'm thinking that the tabs underneath got broke from shipment and the vibration is what cracked the console. Amvcane the tractor handles the 6 foot blower just fine. It rarely bogs down. The only time it bogs is when I push a bunch of snow in a pile and hurry to blower it out of the way. If I take my time when I make these piles, then I'm fine. I bought the 6 foot blower cause of the deal. Now that I have that size, I don't think I would go any smaller or bigger.

I partially removed the console/dash on my Bobcat CT 235. Pretty straight forward. Have a good selection of deep metric sockets as at least on my Bobcat several different sizes were used. Also keep track of where what size goes. I use duct tape and stick them to it as I remove and note on the back where they came from. This post has a link to the work shop manual. http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/...anual-ck25-27-a-4.html?highlight=#post3444884 Post #40.

I also have it as a PDF, but not sure how to upload it.

Hope this helps

Do you have to remove the headlight switch etc in order to get this cowel off or is it just the various bolts at the bottom?
