Thanks for the help.
I just bought a B3030 hsdc 2008 .
I what to install a radio in the cab.
I seen the your thread about you installation but i can't see the photos .
I am new to tractorbynet , is there a special way to see photos ??
I also have a question since I don't have the operator manual .
I wonder what is the little red lever on the seat side on the joystick , I thought it was to lock it , but pushing it in and out don't seem to do anything.
Thanks.
Jack.
Hi Jack
I noticed no one responded to your question about the small red level. I believe you are correct and it is to lock out the loader control lever.
At the risk of offending those of you who enjoy, and have spent many hours and $$$ on an in cab stereo, I suggest you try a pair of Worktunes radio hearing protectors. I love mine. I hear the music, not the noise, and at volumes which do not damage my hearing. All for $50. I do recommend the Worktunes brand with digital receiver though, as I tried a cheaper brand previously and didn't like them at all.
This not intended to be critical of those who have in cab stereos. I liked the idea before I tried the headphones, and I've spent thousands on aftermarket car stereos over the years, so I appreciate draw. Just suggesting there is another, although somewhat less "sexy" alternative, provided you don't mind riding around with hearing protection on... Plus, you can put the money into a new implement. if I had all the $$$$ I spent on stereo equipment in the last 20 years I could afford a new backhoe... And all the $$$ I"ve spent on booze....well that's another story.
