Installing 3rd function and rear remote.

I am assuming someone on here has installed the 3rd function valve on a l5740 with loader and also a rear remote.
How big a deal is either of these jobs?

Dealer installed my rear remotes. Philip.

rjkobbeman installed a 3rd function valve on his M8540, but I can't recall seeing anyone having done so on a GL; don't know if that helps.
