Loader Install on 850

Get yoursef to harbor freight and pick up the 3/4" drive socket set..almost every bolt on my tractor was bigger than what I had in half a lifetime working on cars.

I think most would heartedly disagree with that "steer fine" comment (unless you have arms like Popeye). As a salesman, I appreciate you wanting to make a sale, but don't mislead a TBNer just to make a buck. It might steer OK on pavement, with no load...but a load on a rough surface would be a b*tch.

BTW, ajmbonaire...is your 850 2WD or 4WD?

we do a lot of jd 850 loader i have one. its fine. may be hard for you.

Already got one , had it several years now. Quite handy sometimes.

I second Roy's post!
Unless you really love your 850 it may be less to trade for a newer model with a loader. If your 850 is not a 4WD consider trading. My uncle has a 2WD 950 and loader really can't say it is useful for anything but barn work.

Thanks, from what I have learned here so far that seems to be the way to go.

1 Factory loader hard to find

2 Not 4wd

3 Not power steering

4 Most likely lacking the hydraulics for a loader

I think it's time to upgrade

i see a lot 2x4 tractors with no ps get loaders yanmars kubota ford and jd.i use a 2000 yanmar with weight the back works fine.what run like a yanmar
