injector washers

can anyone tell me how many and type of washers that go at base of injector body, down in the head opening, on yanmar ym2500. nylon, copper,etc. I am replacing the nozzle valve and body in my three injectors, and there was only one nylon sealing washer at base of inj body. thx to all.

come on, now. surely someone out there has removed inj and replaced nozzle body. anyone--------------?

Yeh, but not in a Yanny. Have you posted on the yanmar forum?

Most will have copper where the injector meets the head. Ones i used to work on had aluminum wrapped around fiber material. Hard to explain.

Never seen a nylon seal there.

I have removed the injectors from my Yanmar YM1700. If i remember correctly there is a copper washer between the 2 halves of the pre-combustion chamber and a copper washer on the top half then there is a fiber type of washer on that. I am not sure of the composition of that but, I bought new ones. The old ones probably would not have sealed anymore.
