Initial delivery

I will be receiving a 2410 this week. Tractor ordered with a 60" mid-mount and FEL. Will I receive an owners manual for the mower and another for the FEL? Any suggestions on what to look for when unit is delivered? By the way, how easy is it to unhook the FEL?

LGinIA, yes, you should receive 3 owner's manuals; tractor, loader, and mower. I've never used a 2410, but doubt that removing the loader is much different than my 2710. First time, expect to spend 15 minutes or so learning. After that 2 to 4 minutes; nothing to it. Just be sure you're on a level and hard surface (preferably concrete). Don't know much about the mid-mount mower; I use a 3-point rear discharge.

Yes,You should receive a manual for tractor and each implement.Have the delivery person go over EVERYTHING while he is there.Like Bird says the loader is a snap once you get the hang of it.The removal and hook-up of the mower is no different,it just takes PRACTICE,like learning anything else.Give yourself some time to get used to the Tractor and the "Feel" of how it operates.Go slowly at first,and the speed will come with time.Enjoy your new machine,the 2410 looks to be a dandy unit indeed.

as the above post have stated, u should receive a manuel for each, i always make a copy of each and use it for following when i am work on equiptment.this allows the grease and smudges to mess up the copys and not the original. the fel is easy to detach. just look it over and follow the instructions. be sure to use a solid, level area to detach it.you will love the 2410. good luck and safe tractoring/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
