I don't know if anyone mentioned it but,the way I see it, Kioti must have impressed somebody for Cub Cadet and Bobcat to rebadge them as their own.

Hello all, I'm a new member but I have been reviewing the TBN boards for almost a year. I have been considering buying a tractor since I moved to 13 acres last May. Up until last month, I was looking hard at the Kubota L3400, when I discovered Kioti.

So far all the information seems good and I'm leaning towards the DK3SE HST. I can get a 2008 at a good price about (16,000) though because of the free FEL they will not offer any special financing. I am seriously considering it and seeking alternate financing (Home Equity Loan). Sadly the only dealer is about 100 miles away but he will deliver at the above price and seems to have a good reputation. Anyway if anyone else has any information on the performance and reliability of a DK35SE HST especially the 2008 model, I would greatly appreciate it.

The DK35se is a very nice tractor that compares very very favorably to the L3400. I don't think you will get any negative comments as I haven't heard any over the past year or so.

Even the HST tranny has a clutch pedal. True, it isn't used much and when it is used with the trans it is more of an on/off switch.

The L3400 is an economy tractor without the frills of the GL line of Kubota. To compare the DK35 to something you ought to look at the Kubota GL34xx line.
