Imploding Kubota Cab Windows?

A large difference in temperature in layers of glass can cause the glass to explode. I went through a Car wash one time with my pick up truck. Parked the truck a minute later. Shut the door and started walking away from the truck. Thirty seconds later the door glass exploded.

Has anyone experienced a imploding or exploding cab window on a Kubota Tractor? This happened recently to one of our tractors, and we are pretty confident that no objects hit the window, as the window imploded outwards from the cab and cutting an employee.

I do not have a cabbed Kubota so no experience with them breaking glass, but when I used to farm, we had a couple of John Deere windows explode when the tractors were sitting inside a open machinery shed over winter. We suspected that a drastic, quick temperature change had happened due to a warm winter storm taking temperatures from close to 0 to mid 50's in 1 day.

yeah I understand it is nano sized silica that is converted to plasma and then 'beamed' up but I haven't got it all figured out how yet.

I had a similar experience. Was simply mowing with a kubota lx 2610 and the front windshield shattered. Nothing hit it. There was nothing there to hit it.

If others experienced this, did you get pictures of it?

I have seen this happen with closed truck windows sitting in the hot sun.
